5 types of gothic shoes

The Gothic fashion style has become extremely popular in recent years. Originally an underground style worn by only a few, this style has become very fashion forward as it has moved into the mainstream. Many people find it fun to dress with this style sporadically while others have integrated many aspects of the look into their daily clothes. This style integrates some basic elements into many different styles, creating a truly unique look. With the help of leather clothes, Victorian aesthetics and punk, the look has both cultural and advanced aspects. Footwear has become one of the areas used by both supporters and traders.

Boots. For both men and women, boots are a very popular look. Goth boots have a good look that is very industrial and with a style thrown in. These boots are usually long on the length of the leg and have very pronounced buckles and straps. The leather is usually very glossy and the bottom of the foot has thick treads.

Platforms. In almost all forms of shoe, boot or otherwise, platforms are extremely popular in this style. These are made with thick rubber and add a few inches of lift. However, the elevator is not a heel. The elevator is flat and allows the carrier to walk as they usually do without much discomfort. The extra height adds more to the wearer’s appearance and subtly increases the leg length.

Victorian. This model of shoes, usually women’s shoes, these products try to imitate the appearance of the Victorian style through very delicate design that is particularly ornate in appearance. Unlike Victorian aesthetics, however, these products are jet black.

Men’s Shoes. For men, gothic shoes are much more subtle than their female counterparts. They can still be as big as a statement. Often, these products mimic older styles from the 20th century and other eras, but they still retain dark leather and light stainless steel.

Funny sneakers. The Goth style often integrates images of death, skeletons and other macabre images. Sneakers, slip-ons and other basic Goth-style shoes have changed with these images, again with the dark colors that fit this style.

Each of these styles can be integrated into many other looks so they can be fun to play with even for those who are not completely Goth. However, it can be a quick step in completely converting to this fun look.
